{"id":6115,"date":"2025-01-21T07:46:58","date_gmt":"2025-01-21T06:46:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irccs.com\/professionisti\/umberto-vitolo\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T14:39:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T13:39:57","slug":"umberto-vitolo","status":"publish","type":"doctor","link":"https:\/\/irccs.com\/en\/professionals\/umberto-vitolo\/","title":{"rendered":"Umberto Vitolo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Prof. <strong>Umberto Vitolo<\/strong> received his medical degree from the University of Turin and later specialized in Hematology and Immunology at the Universities of Pavia and Florence.  <\/p>\n\n<p>He spent a fellowship at the Cancer Research Center, University of Chicago, in oncohematology.<\/p>\n\n<p>He has been in professional practice at Molinette Hospital in Turin since 1980, first head of the Lymphoma Chemoimmunotherapy Unit and from 2008 to 2019 director of Hospital Hematology.  <\/p>\n\n<p>He has been working at IRCCS Candiolo since 2020, and is a consultant hematologist and head of hematology clinical trials, with a focus in lymphoma clinical research.  <\/p>\n\n<p>He was the founder of the Italian Lymphoma Foundation, a member of the Italian Society of Hematology, the American Society of Hematology, the European Hematology Association and the Academy of Medicine of Turin.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Collaborates on the drafting of the EIS, ESMO and EHA lymphoma guidelines.  <\/p>\n\n<p>He has authored and co-authored about 270 scientific publications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":737,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"ruolo":[],"qualifica":[69],"class_list":["post-6115","doctor","type-doctor","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","qualifica-medico"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
