Its mission is to ensure that diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed efficiently and safely, in full compliance with national and international regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team works in close <strong>interdisciplinary <\/strong>collaboration with <strong>clinicians, physicists, and technical staff <\/strong>to implement and optimize advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, define procedural protocols, and address complex challenges in high-technology applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span  id=\"activities\" class=\"h2_anchor\"><\/span>Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Core Services Provided by the Health Physics Service:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of <strong>personalized radiation therapy treatment plans<\/strong> for patients using advanced external beam techniques, including <strong>VMAT, Tomotherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery<\/strong>, designed to maximize tumor dose while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning and management of <strong>HDR brachytherapy<\/strong> and <strong>radionuclide therapies<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Measurement and evaluation of patient radiation doses<\/strong> to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Radiation protection monitoring<\/strong> for healthcare workers and the public, ensuring compliance with safety standards during medical exposures. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quality control and verification<\/strong> of all equipment used in Radiotherapy (linear accelerators, Tomotherapy), Nuclear Medicine (SPECT\/CT, PET\/CT, activity calibrators), and Radiodiagnostics (X-ray, mammography, MRI, CT, angiography). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Verification of radiotherapy treatment plans<\/strong> using independent calculation software, along with <strong>in vivo dose verification<\/strong> during irradiation using volumetric and helical techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span  id=\"contact\" class=\"h2_anchor\"><\/span>Contact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>We are on the ground floor<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tel: 011 993 3701<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fax: 011 993 3752<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span  id=\"equipe\" class=\"h2_anchor\"><\/span>\u00c9quipe<\/h2>\n\n\n\t<div id=\"block_69c555b7e2eae\" class=\"related-doctors-block acf-block\">\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\n\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-5111","medical-area","type-medical-area","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
