The Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit at the Institute specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases<\/strong> affecting the digestive system\u2014including the esophagus<\/a>, stomach<\/a>, duodenum, and colorectum<\/a>, as well as the liver<\/a>, biliary tract, and pancreas<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performing over 10,000 procedures annually<\/strong>, the Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments<\/strong> featuring advanced imaging technologies, including high-definition endoscopes and enhanced contrast techniques such as NBI<\/strong> (narrow-band imaging) and artificial intelligence-assisted imaging<\/strong>, which ensure high diagnostic accuracy and early identification of lesions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
