Departmental staff will then contact you to provide you with all the necessary information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission and Discharge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Routine admissions usually take place from Monday to Friday. Discharges may occur every day for inpatient admissions and from Monday through Saturday for day hospital admissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arrival and Documentation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On the day of admission, please wait outside the ward until called by the medical staff. You will be asked to provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid ID (a photocopy is also acceptable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health Insurance Card\u00a0(a photocopy is also acceptable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name and phone number of your primary care physician<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Names and contact details of relatives or designated contacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All relevant clinical documentation, including diagnostic and imaging reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The medications you routinely take (and, if possible, the medications themselves)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rooms and Common Areas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After admission, healthcare staff will accompany you directly to your room. All rooms are comfortable and equipped with <strong>private bathrooms<\/strong>, television and air conditioning.There is also a small lounge and library in the wards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Meals are prepared by an external catering\u00a0 service and can be adapted to your dietary needs and preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety and Ward Regulations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For your safety, leaving the ward without staff authorization is not permitted. Personal furnishings, plants or flowers are not allowed in patient rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visitor Access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Family members and visitors are welcome during designated visiting hours, in accordance with current health regulations and ward-specific guidelines. To ensure optimal care and rest:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only <strong>one visitor per patient <\/strong>is allowed at a time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Food, beverages, or medications that may interfere with treatment<\/strong> or diagnostic procedures are <strong>not permitted<\/strong>. When in doubt, please consult medical or nursing staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plants and flowers are not allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children <strong>under the age of 12<\/strong> are usually not permitted, unless specifically authorized by nursing staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Standards of behavior<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To make your stay and that of other patients safer and more comfortable, we ask you to follow some simple rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Personal belongings and valuables<\/strong>: always keep your room locker locked, at all times. Avoid bringing valuables or large sums of money, as the Institute cannot be held responsible for loss or theft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smoking<\/strong>: smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the Institute (Law. 3 of 16\/1\/2003);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Electronic devices<\/strong>: mobile phones, computers or other devices, may be used, provided that the privacy and rest of other patients are respected. Power strips and non-compliant electrical devices are not allowed.
