Dr. Valentina Casalone graduated in Dietetics from the University of Turin and later received her Master’s Degree in Food and Human Nutrition from the University of Milan.
Over the years, she has freelanced in different outpatient clinics in the province of Turin and collaborated in a nutrition education project in the area promoted by Novacoop.
Since 2020, he has been working at IRCCS Candiolo, where he is among the members of the Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition team and where he is involved in clinical activities (outpatient and in the wards) and research in nutrition (as principal investigator or co-investigator).
She is an active member of the Dietitians Group of the Piedmont and Aosta Valley Oncology Network, the “Nutrition in Oncology” Study Group of the ASAND Scientific Society, and the “Survivorship care and nutritional support” Working Group of Alliance Against Cancer.
She is currently the author and coauthor of 5 scientific publications and papers at national conferences.
