Dr. Paola Boccone graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and later completed her residency in Medical Oncology at the same university. After specialization, he continued his clinical and research activities at IRCCS Candiolo, participating as a sub-investigator in phase II and III clinical trials in the field of soft tissue and bone sarcomas.
From 2019 to 2024, he worked as a Medical Executive at the S.C. Internal Medicine of San Lorenzo Hospital in Carmagnola, gaining experience in the management of the complex multi-pathology patient and in the urgent care setting. He later continued his professional career at the Oncology Department of Cardinal Massaia Hospital in Asti, focusing on the treatment of breast and gynecological cancers.
Since 2025, he has been working as Medical Director of Oncology at IRCCS Candiolo, where he provides clinical care in inpatient, day hospital and outpatient settings. In this context, he actively collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to define pathways
integrated diagnostic-therapeutic and participates in clinical trials dedicated to soft tissue and bone sarcomas.
Dr. Boccone has authored and coauthored several scientific publications.
He is an active member of leading scientific societies in oncology, including ISG (Italian Sarcoma Group ), AIOM (Italian Association of Medical Oncology) and ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology).
