Dr. Danilo Giuseppe Faraci graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania and later received his specialization in Hematology from the University of Turin.
Over the years, he has carried out his professional activities between Turin (City of Health, Molinette garrison) and Novara (AOU Maggiore della Carità ).
Since 2023, he has been working at IRCCS Candiolo, where he is among the members of the Hematology team and works at the Stem Cell Transplantation Center, inpatient and DH of Oncohematology. Has expertise in autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant infusion, including management of complications and follow-up.
He is a member of various national and international scientific societies, such as SIE (Italian Society of Hematology), SIES (Italian Society of Experimental Hematology), Piedmont Oncology Network, GITMO (Italian Group for Bone Marrow Transplantation, Hemopoietic Stem Cells and Cell Therapy), EHA (European Hematology Association).
He has authored and co-authored about 21 scientific publications and papers at national and international conferences.
