Dr. Alberto Milan graduated from medical school in 2000. During his residency in Internal Medicine, he was a Research Fellow at Tufts University (USA). He subsequently received his Ph.D. in medical pathophysiology.
From 2006 to 2008, he served in the emergency room at Chivasso Hospital. Subsequently, between 2008 and 2019, he served as Medical Director at the AOU City of Health and Science of Turin consolidating his clinical and research expertise in internist, cardiovascular and cardio-oncology.
Having obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as associate and full professor, he has been a type B researcher since 2019. He is an associate professor as of December 2022 at the University of Turin.
Since January 2024, he has been the Director of University Internal Medicine at IRCCS Candiolo.
He is a member of numerous national and international societies, including the ESC Cardio-Oncology Council.
He has authored and co-authored about 120 publications in international scientific journals in the cardiovascular field and, in particular, in the oncology-cardiovascular field. He regularly participates as a speaker at national and international conferences.
