Dr. Giorgio Borretta graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and later obtained his specialization in Endocrinology from the University of Turin and in Diabetology from the University of Genoa.
He practiced his professional activities in Cuneo (AO S. Croce e Carle) holding the position of Director of Complex Structure and Department.
Since 2022, he has been working at IRCCS Candiolo as a consultant in Endocrinology.
He has been national advisor of the Italian Society of Endocrinology (SIE), national president of the Association of Medical Endocrinologists (AME) and the AACE (American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists) Italian Chapter .
He has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and papers at national and international conferences.
