Conventions

We have agreements with major insurance companies, supplementary health care funds, health insurance funds and mutuals, and insurance networks to cover hospitalization and outpatient services.

How to take advantage of the conventions

Conventions can be:

• in direct form: the institution (insurance, fund or fund) enters into a direct agreement with RCCS Candiolo and bears all or part of the cost of health care services. In this case, the patient does not have to anticipate the expense, but only-if any deductible or overdraft;
• Indirectly: the patient bears the cost of the services and then requests reimbursement from his or her institution in accordance with the terms of his or her policy or regulation.

To make proper use of the benefits provided under your agreement, always check with the operations center of your fund, fund, mutual, institution or insurance network about coverage arrangements, rates applied and any limitations before booking your benefit.
