Dr. Alessandro Serafini graduated from the University of Genoa with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and later completed his residency in Radiology at the University of Turin.
During her training, she mainly focused her interest in the field of Interventional Radiology, visiting as a Clinical Research Fellow for six months at the VuMC Cancer Center of Amsterdam UMC (The Netherlands).
Since 2023 he has been working at IRCCS Candiolo, where he is among the components of the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology service. Its branches of interest turn out to be percutaneous and endovascular treatments in oncologic diseases.
He is a member of SIRM, ESR and CIRSE.
He has authored and co-authored about 9 scientific publications and papers at national and international conferences.
