Dr. Antonio Manca graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2002 from the University of Sassari, where he received his residency in Radiology in 2006 and his PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2011.

He has been a Level I medical director at the Candiolo Institute’s Radiology Department since 2007. He is a member of the Interventional Radiology team dealing in particular with bone interventional procedures (he has more than 1000 vertebroplasty procedures to his credit), percutaneous thermoablations (liver, kidney, bone), biliary/urinary interventional procedures, and intra-arterial treatment of liver tumors (TACE/TARE). It runs outpatient, day-surgery and inpatient interventional radiology.

Collaborates with the School of Specialization in Radiodiagnostics in Turin for lectures in the fourth year.

He is the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications with 1004 citations and has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences.
