Dr. Alessandro Fornari

Dr. Alessandro Fornari graduated from the University of Turin in 2003 with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and later received his specialization in Pathological Anatomy from the same university.
From September 2007 to October 2008, he was an attending physician at Prof. Massimo Loda’s laboratory at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
From 2009 to 2025, he served as medical director anatomo-pathologist at AOU San Luigi Gonzaga in Orbassano, focusing mainly on histopathological diagnostics in the areas of hematology, urology and ENT.
Since November 2025, he has been among the members of the Pathology Anatomy Service. He is a referral for hemolymphopathology, and is involved in second-level diagnostics in several areas, including male urogenital pathology, sarcomas, and skin pathology.
Conducts mentoring for physicians in specialty training enrolled in the School of Specialization in Pathologic Anatomy at the University of Turin.
Actively participates in the Study Groups of the Piedmont and Aosta Valley Oncology Network. He is a member of the Italian Society of Anatomic Pathology and Cytology (SIAPEC).
He has authored and co-authored scientific publications in national and international journals.
