Dr. Antonio Toesca received his medical degree in 2001 and his residency in General Surgery from the University of Milan.
After 15 years at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan as a breast surgeon, he became Director of the Breast Surgery Program at the IRCCS in Candiolo, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
He is a lecturer in the International Master’s Degree Program in Senology at the Tejerina Foundation-International University of Madrid.
He is a pioneer and promoter of minimally invasive breast surgery using robotic and endoscopic techniques for the treatment of breast cancer. He has more than 5,000 surgeries to his credit.
A speaker, moderator and faculty member at numerous Italian and international conferences, he is an editorial board member and author of numerous publications in indexed scientific journals.
