Dr. Carla Gilardi received her medical degree and her residency in diagnostic radiology from the University of Turin.
She has always been involved in breast diagnostics, in the graduate school of Radiology in St. John the Baptist Hospital in Turin first, as a hospitalist from 1998 to 2014 then at Sant’Anna Hospital and later at Valdese Hospital and Cottolengo Hospital.
He has worked as a radiology physician in a Breast Unit in England, Oxford University Hospital and St. Bartholomews in London for about two years.
She has been a reader for the “Prevention Seren “a mammography screening program for about 20 years, for multiple locations in Turin (Sant’Anna Hospital and Ophthalmic Hospital) and in Collegno, Mondovì, Cuneo and Savigliano.
Performed out-of-hospital breast diagnostics at several practices.
Since 2020, he has been a consultant at the Breast Unit of IRCCS Candiolo as a radiologist in the diagnostic radiology department.
Over the years, she has devoted herself to integrated breast diagnostics (clinical examination, mammography, ultrasonography and second-level diagnostics) with performance of interventional procedures (needle biopsies and preoperative localizations).
