Prof. Caterina Marchiò received her medical degree from the University of Turin, where she later earned her doctorate in Advanced Methods of Localization of Human Tumors and then her specialization in Pathologic Anatomy.

Over the years he has carried out his professional activities between London (Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre), New York (Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre), Paris (Institut Curie) and Turin (Molinette).

Since 2018, he has been working at IRCCS Candiolo in the Pathology Anatomy team, where he is Head of Molecular Diagnostics and supervises breast, gynecological, thoracopulmonary and soft tissue diagnostics. Since September 2025, she has been director of the Department of Pathology Anatomy.

He is a member of the Precision Oncology Working Group of the European Society of Medical Oncology and the Molecular Pathology and Precision Medicine Study Group of the Italian Society of Pathologic Anatomy and Cytology.

She has authored and co-authored 210 scientific publications and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international conferences.
