Dr. Ivana Sarotto graduated with a degree in biological sciences from the University of Turin, Italy, and later specialized in clinical pathology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ferrara.
From 1992 to 1999 he served as a professional at ASL CN2 Alba-Bra.
Since 1999 he has been working at IRCCS Candiolo, where he is a member of the Pathology Anatomy team. He is in charge of Immunohistochemistry, quality liaison and is responsible for vaginal and extra-vaginal cytology, tissue biomarkers and HPV genotyping testing.
He is a member of SIAPeC-IAP (Italian Society of Anatomic Pathology) and GISCi (Italian Cervicocarcinoma Screening Group).
She is the author and coauthor of about 80 scientific publications and papers presented at national and international conferences.
