Dr. Lucia Garetto received her medical degree from the University of Turin. At the same university, he later obtained his specializations in Internal Medicine (address “Emergency Medicine”) and Oncology as well as a Level I Master’s degree in Management of Health and Local Companies and a Level II Master’s degree in Strategic Management of Health Companies.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Garetto has worked at various Emergency Medicine and Emergency Rooms and, since 1996, has been Medical Director at the Multidisciplinary Oncology Day Hospital at IRCCS Candiolo, with more than 1,000 oncology visits performed each year and the role of medical liaison in the GIC of thoracopulmonary malignancies.
She performs collaborative work with the Piedmont Aosta Valley Oncology Network for the inter-agency lung and head and neck GICs and has been coordinator, since 2022, of the Oncogeriatrics GIC
She is the author and coauthor of numerous international publications and an annual speaker at conferences.
