Dr. Remo Obert received his medical degree from the University of Turin.
From April 1977 to 1988, he was an assistant professor of respiratory pathophysiology and bronchology at the CTP of the Molinette Hospital in Turin, Italy. In 1979 he became a specialist in Physiology and Respiratory Diseases, and in 1986 he became a chief of Pulmonology.
From 1984 to 1996 he was a tenured lecturer in Clinic of Rehabilitation of Pneumological Affections at the Region’s Physiotherapist School, from 1987 to 1995 a lecturer in the integrative teaching of Bronchology at the University’s School of Otolaryngology and, from 1988 to 1992, a lecturer in the integrative teaching of Respiratory Pathophysiology at the University’s School of Anesthesia and Resuscitation.
He worked in the Division of Pneumology at Luigi Einaudi Hospital in Turin from 1988 to 1999, was a consultant bronchologist from 1989 to 1992 at Amedeo di Savoia Hospital and from 1989 to 1999 at Martini Hospital in Turin.
From 1999 to December 2009, he was head of the Hospital Unit of Pneumology at IRCCS Candiolo, where he is still a consultant pulmonologist.
