Prof. Riccardo Faletti is a medical specialist in Radiation Diagnostics, with extensive experience in cardiovascular and abdominal imaging.
He is currently Associate Professor of Radiology at the Department of Surgical Sciences, University of Turin, where he conducts teaching and research.
Since 2025, he has been Director of the University Directed Radiodiagnostics Unit at the IRCCS Candiolo Institute, where he coordinates clinical and research activities.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin in 2004 and specialized in Radiology at the same university in 2008.
His professional career began in 2010 at the AOU Città della Salute e della Scienza in Turin, where he developed advanced skills in cardiovascular, liver and oncology diagnostics. In 2013 he embarked on his university career as a researcher in the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Turin, and since 2021 he has held the position of Associate Professor of Radiology in the same university, where he coordinates research, specialized training and university teaching activities.
Professor Faletti has participated as principal investigator or co-investigator in numerous national and international research projects in the field of diagnostic imaging, with emphasis on cardio-CT, cardio-RM, radiomics, and multiparameter imaging.
He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications in national and international indexed journals in the field of clinical and experimental radiology.
Professor Faletti is an active member of several national and international scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the European Society of Cardiac Radiology (ESCR), and the Cardioradiology Section of SIRM.
