Gynecologic Oncology and Hereditary Tumors.Dr. Riccardo Ponzone graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and later completed his residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Over the years, he has practiced between Turin (S. Anna, Mauriziano and IRCCS Hospitals) and London (Royal Marsden Hospital and UCL).
He has worked at IRCCS Candiolo since 1999, and has been Director of Gynecologic Oncology since 2010. He has more than 6,000 breast and gynecologic surgeries to his credit using the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic.
Between 2003 and 2102, she earned a Ph.D. in Gynecologic Oncology from La Sapienza University of Rome, taught courses at Turin University, and obtained the national scientific qualification for the position of second-rank professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics .
He is the author of 130 scientific publications indexed on Pubmed and more than 120 conference papers.
