Dr. Anna Santagata has been a Social Worker at the IRCCS Candiolo Oncology Institute since 2025, where she works to support patients and their families in their journey of treatment and care.

He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service Science from the University of Naples “Federico II” in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in Planning and Management of Social Services and Policies from the same university in 2008. She is a member of the Order of Social Workers of Piedmont and Aosta Valley.

She has over fifteen years of experience in territorial social services, an area in which she has been involved in the comprehensive care of family units and fragile people, through the definition of personalized interventions to support minors, adults and the elderly, both self-sufficient and non-self-sufficient.

He has collaborated on an ongoing basis with local social and health services, contributing to the integrated planning of support interventions and the construction of synergistic care pathways responsive to individual needs.

Its professional approach is based on the centrality of listening to and supporting people in vulnerable conditions, with a focus on promoting personal autonomy and decision-making and respecting the principles of ethical responsibility and protection of individual dignity.
