Dr. Pio Manlio Mirko Frascione received his medical degree from the Federico II University of Naples. Subsequently, he obtained his specialization in Medical Oncology at the IRCCS in Candiolo, afferent to the University of Turin, where he was able to further his training, as part of the common trunk of the specialty, in the Department of Internal Medicine of the Molinette Hospital and in the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Amedeo di Savoia Hospital. During his residency, he focused his efforts and training in the areas of Hematology and cutaneous neoplasms, particularly delving into the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of these disciplines.
Subsequently, he performed outpatient, day hospital and ordinary inpatient activities, currently continuing his work at the Candiolo IRCCS, where he mainly deals with lymphomas, chronic lymphatic leukemias, multiple myeloma and skin neoplasms. He also serves as coordinator of the (GIC) for lymphoproliferative diseases at the Institute.
He is a member of the Italian Society of Hematology and the Italian Lymphoma Foundation.
